About Us

The idea of Physim came about rather spontaneously. While attending a lecture in Classical Mechanics, the formulas reviewed, were not only difficult to understand, but also visualize. Questions started to arise such as how can I relate to this formula? What can be a good reresentation of it? How can I see this in the real world? Is there any way this can be visualized? Are there animations or simulations that explain this? Is there a way to make graphs based on using simulations? Can I learn, review, and practice material all in one place? Interactively and hands-on? As these questions arose, and no answers could be found, an idea to create an independent online platform in the form of an interactive textbook explaining these concepts, providing a visual for them, and offering hands on practice came about.
